Are resources always deployed to the resource group of the region’s virtual network? Is there a way to split resources across multiple resource groups?

For example, a gateway cluster in resource group A, an desktop pool in resource group B, etc.

Hi Josh,

Yes, for Azure we can split the deployment into multiple Resource Groups. One Resource Group is used for Cloud PCs, another for all Management Servers, and another Transit RG for the Gateways. Each RG with its own Virtual Network and all peered to the Customer’s Azure Subscription.

This can also be discussed further with your CSE and CSM.

Jorge,

Thank you. That’s what I thought, we’d need the multiple virtual networks.
