Is the process to use multiple regions in a single Azure subscription to add the subscription multiple times (choosing a different region each time) under the Cloud Subscriptions section or is there another way?

Hi Josh,

No, if the multiple regions are part of the same subscription, we just need to create the Virtual networks in the subscription, and those will be visible inside Control using the same subscription. Your CSE can detail it more based on your current setup. but to answer the question. No, you don’t need multiple subscriptions.

Jorge,

Thanks for clarifying. I thought I had tested this, but I guess I didn’t. I added another virtual network in a different region and it does show up!

So, what does the region drop down control when adding a cloud provider in Workspot Control?

In Azure, the region drop-down will show you the subnets configured for the customer. Whether these are all in one region or multiple regions.

For GCP Customers the Region shows all the regions available within GCP.

Hi Josh, when setting up a new Cloud subscription to Control, there is a “region” drop down selection. This doesn’t really do anything in Control. It just asks for what the “main” region is but doesn’t lock you into that region alone.

Thank you both for explaining!
